Woodmansterne

With a brand new building, the entrance to Woodmansterne School needed an upgrade.
The old chain link fence was drab and worn.
Most importantly the creativity of the children was not in evidence.

We began with the school values –
unity, responsibility, respect, aspiration, cooperation.
These were represented by simple graphic images.

These were combined into a single image, and the final gives a fresh look to the school entrance.

The top section was laser cut in aluminium to control the weight, then powder coated.
In the lower section laser cut elements in steel were inserted into the existing steel rails.
