Metamorphosis

The poetry of Dante and Ovid has been an inspiration for prints and sculpture, and been the basis of several exhibitions – at the Biblioteca Classense in Ravenna and the Accademia Italiana in London. Here are the transformations between divine and temporal worlds. The personificaton of elements. People becoming trees, or being changed into animals.
